Winter is here and it is making you feel its presence in a hard way. Cracked heels, dry hands chapped lips, rough hair et all. But don't worry our skin has its natural tentency to soak moisture and a little care from your side will make your skin happy and grateful.
Massage your body with olive or coconut oil for 20 minutes. Let it rest for a few minutes.
Do not use scrub exfoliator too harshly, because this will rob off the natural oil of your skin.
Do not go overboard with soap. Instead Body wash gel from a good company. I have tried Dove and found good commendable results.
After bath use moisturiser within three minutes.Because this way your skin grabs lesser amount and more effectively. And apply a generous amount of the same.
Use the best quality moisturiser you can afford.
Wash your face several times and apply moisturiser each time you wash your face.
Winter Lip Care
During winter your lips become chapped and if not chapped they feel dry.
Use desi ghee to massage your lips.
Apply honey to your lips.
Use only cream based lip balms and lip products.
If possible avoid wearning lip colors that stays day long or more. Because your lips too neeed to breathe!!
Winter hand care
Winter create havoc to my hands. I feel like doing nnothing but applying cream and hand lotion throughout the day and sit idle in front of the TV. But alas! I have to find out some remedy. And so did I.
Keep hand lotion handy, near the wash basin. The idea is to use a generous dollop everytime you wash your hands.
Step by step hands care/ Manicure.
Take a bowl of warm water. Mix two tsp of olive oil/mastard oil. keep your hands dipped.
TAke out and wipe your hands off excess oil.
Now massage each hand with the other for a good five minutes. Wear a pair of cotton gloves and keep them on overnight.
During the day rub a mixure of lemon juice and olive oil with a tsp of sugar. This will do excellent job on your hands. and you will forget about dry hands.
